Homeownership Services manages 9,749 leasehold, shared ownership and freehold properties and has recently undergone a review to provide a more holistic service. This role, along with the team it will manage, was created as part of the service review and will play a vital role in implementing strategic and operational improvements. This is an exciting time to join Homeownership Services, supporting the Head of Homeownership Services (Service Charges, Consultation and Income) in shaping the service to meet residents’ needs, ensuring the Council complies with legislative requirements, and enabling the service to respond to changes in the homeownership landscape.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess in-depth legislative knowledge affecting leasehold consultation and major works billing, exceptional people and relationship management skills, demonstrable experience of leadership, and experience in systems, process, and procedure development for increasing efficiency and accuracy.
