Good resident engagement and participation is a top priority for Housing Services. Making sure that we involve our residents in improving our services and promote strong, sustainable communities is paramount. We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated professionals to join our team.

As a Community Engagement Support Officer you will play a lead role in supporting the Resident Participation Team to deliver community projects effectively, including research for funding bids and responsibility for the day-to-day administration of our housing community grants programme. You will also support projects and initiatives that benefit Hackney housing residents, including assisting the wider team with training, events management and communications.

To excel in this position, you will ideally have experience of developing and supporting community or resident engagement activities and/or administering grant applications. You will have good organisational, communication and IT skills and a proven ability to build successful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your track record will show that you have a ‘can-do’ attitude, can be creative and innovative in your approach, and have the skills to manage a varied workload effectively.
