This role supports the redesign and modernization of local social care services by analysing performance and financial data to inform strategy and operational decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, tracking and reporting of operational and financial metrics within the social care portfolio.
  • Maintain and update interactive dashboards using tools such as Qlik or Looker Studio to provide senior leadership with a clear view of departmental trends.
  • Identify data discrepancies, recommend process improvements and develop self‑service reporting tools to empower staff.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of outcomes and cost‑avoidance benefits for social care services.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Qlik or PowerBI) for data processing and visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality analysis that supports decision‑making, with meticulous attention to detail for complex financial and performance calculations.
  • Desirable experience in an adult social care or health setting, including use of relational databases such as Mosaic.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple teams.
