We are looking for two Estates & Environmental Services Team Managers to drive high-quality estate services across Croydon’s diverse housing portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people‑focused, operationally strong leader to join us at an exciting time.
About the RoleYou will lead a large team of caretakers, handypersons and bulk refuse operatives, ensuring our estates are well‑maintained, safe, welcoming and reflective of residents’ pride in their homes.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a consistent, responsive and customer‑focused estate maintenance service
- Motivate your teams to achieve excellence in cleanliness, safety and customer experience
- Manage performance, service standards and key contracts to ensure value for money
- Drive continuous improvement, using data, feedback and audits to raise standards
- Oversee complex and sensitive estate issues, working constructively with internal partners and external agencies
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements
- Champion resident engagement and ensure our services meet the needs of Croydon’s diverse communities
This is a highly visible management role, where your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, estate safety and the quality of life for residents.
