Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a dynamic and rewarding role within the temporary accommodation sector, where you will be responsible for providing proactive housing management services across a diverse property portfolio. You will ensure that council-owned properties, leased accommodation, hostels, and nightly paid accommodation are well maintained, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Your primary focus will be to support homeless households in temporary accommodation, maximising tenancy sustainment and managing tenancy breaches. You will liaise with landlords and property providers to ensure that all obligations are met, and you will carry out welfare checks and property inspections to safeguard both tenants and housing stock.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who shares our ambition to make Camden the best place to live and work. You will bring experience in housing or property management, a deep understanding of the Housing Act 1996, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment. You must be proactive and solution‑focused, able to act swiftly to address issues and ensure services are accessible, transparent, and responsive to the diverse needs of residents. Above all, you will have a caring approach, valuing collaboration and inclusivity, and working with the team to ensure that no one is left behind.
What We Offer
- 27 days annual leave for new starters, rising to 31 days after 5 years
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Flexible working opportunities
- Interest free loans
- Access to our incredible staff networks
- Career development and training
- Wellbeing support and activities
