About Camden

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a dynamic and rewarding role within the temporary accommodation (TA) service, where you will be responsible for providing an enhanced, dedicated and proactive service for households in TA as the Council seeks to reverse the growing numbers of people living in temporary accommodation. The role is an integral part of transforming how we work with people in TA and is key in ensuring households are able to move on smoothly and successfully to suitable and stable homes, reducing the length of time our residents spend in temporary accommodation and the overall number of households in TA also.

You will be responsible for delivering a resident focused supportive service to our homeless households residing in TA. You will proactively explore and secure alternative housing options for residents, supporting them into more stable and settled homes – ensuring they are ready for such move-on; whilst also relieving the significant pressure that TA is placing on council budgets.
