What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved

The Service Coordinator will support and enable services to deliver for the people of Camden efficiently and effectively. You will ensure the professional delivery of established processes, work closely with colleagues to identify areas for improvement, and ensure that support remains appropriate for all service users. You will embrace new technology to support service users and maintain a flexible level of support in line with Camden’s ways of working. This role enables services to meet their strategic objectives and supports the smooth running of functions that deliver to our citizens.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS. Camden also offers the DBS update service.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing excellent customer and administrative services in a fast‑paced, citizen‑focused environment.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships and demonstrate effective communication skills, written and verbal, and express issues clearly.
  • High levels of professionalism, approachability, courtesy and helpfulness in support delivery.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, using problem‑solving skills and initiative to provide customer‑focused support service.
  • Ability to work flexibly, balance competing priorities and meet deadlines while understanding the needs, timescales and deadlines of others.
  • Diplomatic and confidential handling of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
