Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
How You’ll Be Involved

- The Team achieves challenging targets within defined timescales for helping families make positive moves to prevent homelessness or exit temporary accommodation, through provision of first‑class housing advice and support with the widest possible range of housing options.
- Completion of high‑quality, timely and accurate assessments in accordance with the Housing Act 1996 Parts VI and VII, Code of Guidance, case law and the council’s strategies and policies (especially the homelessness placement policy and housing allocations scheme) is required.
- Strengths‑based approaches and joint working are role‑modelled, enabling the team to create and action personalised housing plans for households to move seamlessly and successfully, at the most appropriate time, to an affordable home suitable for their needs.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
