What You’ll Be Doing / How You’ll Be Involved: Camden Adult Community Learning (ACL) is recruiting Community Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)/Enrolment Support Officers to support information advice and guidance as well as enrolment support onto our courses in the community in Camden neighbourhoods. Our strength and difference from other adult learning providers is that our courses are run closer to learners in community settings like libraries and community centres. We work across over 90 different venues in Camden. The course provision is done by our tutors, while this post will support our tutors by raising awareness of programmes, enrolling learners and providing information, advice and guidance. This information, advice and guidance will be focused on learning opportunities but will also incorporate a range of other council services and a wider Service offer to the communities living, working and volunteering within the geography of Camden. The post holder/s will report to Community Operations Manager based in the Community Development Department of the Adult Community Learning Service.
This role can be a stepping stone toward:
- Becoming a qualified IAG adviser (e.g. Level 3 or 4 in Advice and Guidance).
- Progressing into roles in adult education coordination, community outreach, learner support, or education policy.
