About the role
We are looking for an IT Contract Manager to manage the IT procurement life cycle. This role will be responsible for all IT Contracts in Customer, Technology and Data Service (CTDS), ensuring effective contract management and supplier performance is maintained to achieve quality and best value from all procurement.
You will:
- Plan and lead end-to-end procurement activity through requirements gathering, market engagement, development of pricing schedules, evaluating and contract award.
- Work in collaboration with Corporate Procurement, Finance and other departments to complete all procurement.
- Lead supplier relationship management across CTDS and develop strategic relationships with key vendors, ensuring delivery meets agreed SLA, milestones and road map.
- Support flexible working arrangements with a combination of office-based and home working; main office base will be Crowndale Centre and 5 Pancras Square.
About you
To be successful in this role you must have strong knowledge and background in IT Procurement, with experience of contract management and supplier relationship management.
Natural consultative approach with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing customer expectations and ensuring effective communications with colleagues and customers throughout the service.
Ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers to achieve best value from all procurement and contracts.
Ability to work proactively and flexibly and to manage large data sets including contract data.
