What You’ll Be Doing
Camden Adult Social Care is seeking an experienced and confident Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a fast-paced and rewarding front-door role that is central to our statutory safeguarding duties under the Care Act 2014.
MASH is the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns raised about adults at risk. You will work in a dynamic, virtual co-located, multi-disciplinary team alongside professionals from the Police, Mental Health, Housing, and Health to deliver timely, proportionate, and Making Safeguarding Personal responses.
You will triage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42(1) decision-making, liaise with partner agencies, and initiate proportionate action under the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures.
This is an exciting opportunity for social workers who enjoy analytical decision-making, multi-agency work, and who want to contribute to high-quality safeguarding outcomes at the front door.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

- You must be a Social Work England-registered social worker, with at least two years post-ASYE experience.
- You will have a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, including duties under Section 42, and the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Procedures.
- You will bring experience in safeguarding adults, sound professional judgement, and the ability to manage competing demands in a responsive and person-centred way.
- You will be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary setting and building effective relationships across agencies.
- You will also be skilled in concise, analytical recording that supports good decision-making.
