We have a range of opportunities to work as a Social Worker across different teams in our adult social care service. We currently have vacancies in:

  • Neighbourhoods Teams
  • Hospital Teams
  • Reviews Team
  • Multi Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH)
  • Weekend Social Workers - Hospital Teams (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Role Overview

We need dedicated Social Workers who build resilience and enhance the quality of life for residents. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to working within the Neighbourhoods, Reviews, MASH or Hospital teams, providing care that improves wellbeing for individuals, carers and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to the needs of residents, applying the Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act where relevant.
  • Conduct assessments of risk, need and capacity, managing your own workload and resources effectively.
  • Respond to unexpected events and crises, recognising signs of harm, abuse and neglect.
  • Sustain professional relationships and collaborate with the interdisciplinary network across Camden.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative frameworks and best practice in adult social care.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Completed the ASYE early career requirement.
  • Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act and legislative requirements for adult social care.
  • Evidence of ability to recognise and manage harm, abuse and neglect.
