Teaching Assistant with Named Child – Reference Number ISA/0926

FTE Salary £28,617 (pro rata) Permanent position. 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Location: St Mary’s Catholic Primary School BR3 5DE

Main purpose:

  • To provide learning support for a pupil with an EHCP.

Desired experience and knowledge:

  • Previous experience of working in either specialist provision or mainstream school
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4, ideally with additional learning in relation to children with SEND
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths at a minimum grade C
  • Relevant experience of directly supporting children with complex communication needs
  • Be able to work as part of a team, using initiative and building positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents
