About the role

Following a transformation and service expansion, we now have a centralised Adults Safeguarding Hub which is part of the Prevention and Early Intervention Service. We work together to share knowledge and aim for excellence for individuals accessing our services. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to improving the lives of the people of Bromley by keeping them safe.

In this role you will be an experienced Social Worker in the Safeguarding Hub, responsible for:

  • Supporting the screening of all safeguarding referrals.
  • Delivering end‑to‑end safeguarding processes, including Section 42 enquiries.
  • Working in a fast‑paced environment where prioritisation and time management are key.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely and effective safeguarding interventions.

Required skills and experience

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Resilience to work under pressure.
  • Experience carrying out Section 42 enquiries.
