About the role:
- Day to day responsibility for the co-ordination of SEND provision
- Working in close partnership with the Head Teacher and other senior leaders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our most vulnerable pupils
- Collaborative working with our SEND leaders and teams across the Trust
- Liaising with external agencies and providing pastoral support to pupils and their families
- Advising and supporting class teachers and other colleagues on strategies to support pupils
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of SEND teaching across the primary age range
- The ability to lead school improvement initiatives and be committed to achieving high standards
- A thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
- The NASENCO Qualification or willingness to complete the Award
- The ability to lead and manage a team
