Oaklands Primary Academy is seeking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic Para Professionals (Teaching Assistants) to join our committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals to support pupils’ learning and development, working closely with teaching staff to ensure all children make strong progress. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering targeted support, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling every pupil to achieve their full potential. Oaklands Primary Academy is a vibrant school for children aged 2 to 11, set within a beautiful rural environment in Biggin Hill. Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support for pupils, including those with special educational needs
- Support teaching and learning within the classroom and through small group interventions
- Assist in planning and delivering activities that support pupil progress
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
- Monitor and record pupil progress, supporting teachers in assessing outcomes
- Contribute to creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external professionals
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school

- Experience working with children in a primary or educational setting
