We are looking for bank staff at our London Borough of Bromley Nursery, Community Vision in Penge. The role of Casual Bank Staff is to help support in busy times, such as staff annual leave and absence. You may be asked to work flexible hours between 8am – 6pm in this London Borough of Bromley Nursery. Work is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team during busy periods, covering staff absences and annual leave.
- Assist with delivering high quality care and education through the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Work flexible hours between 8am – 6pm and respond to short‑notice requests on the morning of the day.
Qualifications
- Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) or Level 2 qualification in Childcare, or unqualified applicants with knowledge and experience of early years.
- Must have an Enhanced DBS check.
- Provide two references as required by the local authority recruitment policy.
Salary
- BR5 – £13.69 to £14.52 per hour – Qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 3.
- BR4 – £13.60 to £13.69 per hour – Nursery Practitioner Level 2.
- Unqualified Nursery Practitioner – same rate as BR4.
