Main purpose
To provide learning support for a pupil with an EHCP.
Desired experience and knowledge:
- Previous experience of working in either specialist provision or mainstream school
- NVQ Level 3 or 4, ideally with additional learning in relation to children with SEND
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths at a minimum grade C
- Relevant experience of directly supporting children with complex communication needs
- Be able to work as part of a team, using initiative and building positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents
Visits to the school by prior arrangement are welcome. CVs and generic applications will not be considered.
