Learning Support Assistant (1-2-1) 1 year fixed term for September 2026 at Bullers Wood School for Girls and Sixth Form.

Full time hours in the range of 5 days a week 8.30am – 3.00pm, 30 hours a week. (There will be an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes per day). Term time only, 37 weeks per year.
Salary: BR4 (full time range £25,522 – £25,703) Actual salary £17,375 pro rata per annum dependent upon skills and experience. The annualised salary is paid in 12 monthly instalments.
We are seeking a caring, patient and committed individual to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a named student. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant and positive difference to a young person's educational experience, helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, the SEND team, parents/carers and external professionals to ensure the student receives consistent and effective support throughout their time at school.
This post is linked to the continued attendance of the named student at Bullers Wood School for Girls and will remain in place for as long as the student remains on roll at the school and funding is available.
