Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of the school’s finances.
- Monitoring school expenditure and ensuring budgetary control.
- Monitoring and reconciling payroll data.
- Reconciliation of petty cash.
- Providing information to the Senior Leadership Team, Head Teacher and Governing Body.
- Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with preparing the budget.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and a high standard of literacy and IT skills.
- Working knowledge of the school's Financial Management System (FMS).
- Experience in monitoring and controlling budgets.
- Experience reconciling payroll and petty cash.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and information for senior leaders.
- Subject to pre‑employment checks including a health check, enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
