Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic music teachers to join our vibrant community.

We would particularly like to hear from qualified teachers who can deliver whole class primary school lessons on Garage band, woodwind, ukulele and/or djembe.

About Us

BYMT is a thriving musical hub and is proud to be working in partnership with Bromley Schools.

This year over 8,000 children and young people took part in our fully inclusive classroom instrumental and singing programmes with a further 6,998 taking part in 1-1 lessons delivered by our team of 200+ licensed teachers.

BYMT tutors supported in the delivery of 78 ensembles in school settings and in the planning and delivery of school concerts alongside our classroom music colleagues.

Your Role

  • Contribute to our vision of enriching the lives of children, young people, and the wider community through the transformative power of music.
  • Deliver outstanding music education for all children.
  • Inspire, motivate and engage children and young people in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote BYMT Ensembles and Activities in schools.
  • Attend safeguarding and CPD sessions whenever possible.
