Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to specialise in working with Children and Young People with vision impairments within the Vision Team, Sensory Support Service.
In this role, you will support the inclusion of Children and Young People with vision impairments through individual support in schools and by modifying educational materials and resources. Support and training will be provided to gain an expertise in vision impairment and braille. You will work alongside an experienced and dedicated team.
This post is part-time for 19.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year (term time only). This role would suit an experienced mainstream or special school teaching assistant who is enthusiastic about making a difference.
