We are currently seeking a talented, experienced and ambitious Senior Practitioner to join our Permanency team at Bromley and be part of the Fostering South East Hub.The Fostering South East Hub is a collaborative initiative comprising Supervising Social Workers (SSWs) from the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Southwark.The Hub is responsible for coordinating fostering marketing, recruitment and assessment activity across the participating local authorities. This innovative project is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and forms part of the Government's national strategy to recruit an additional 10,000 foster carers.Senior Practitioners employed within the Hub will continue to undertake form F assessments on behalf of their respective local authorities, while being based within the central Hub located in Greenwich.The role will involve assessing, training, supporting, and supervising foster carers, kinship carers and supported lodgings hosts in line with the relevant Regulations, National Minimum Standards and good practices. They will also provide Supervising Social Work support to temporarily approved carers. The role involves undertaking home visits, attending in-person meetings and events, as well as completing office-based work The successful candidate will:Possess a professional qualification/ Degree, Masters, C.Q. S.W., Dip. Social Work.
