Glebe School is looking for a Safeguarding & Inclusion
Mentor to enhance our committed and supportive team.
Glebe is an outstanding secondary special school for
pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex
needs, including autistic spectrum disorders.
We believe in investing in our staff and have a
comprehensive and ongoing CPD programme, offering

As a member of the Safeguarding Team, the
Safeguarding and Inclusion Mentor will provide
targeted support to vulnerable pupils to help them
feel safe, included and able to engage successfully in
school. Working under the direction of the Designated
Safeguarding Lead, they will deliver one-to-one and
small-group safeguarding and inclusion interventions,
build trusted relationships with pupils and families,
and work closely with staff and external professionals
to reduce barriers to attendance, wellbeing and
Support Staff have a 39-week term time only contract, with hours worked over 38 weeks to allow for a twoweek autumn half term.
