We are seeking to appoint a caring, patient, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs within our school community from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide tailored support that enables the child to access learning, develop independence, and thrive both academically and socially.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children with SEND, either in a school or similar setting
- Is nurturing, calm, and able to build positive relationships
- Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Has good communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of children
