This is an exciting time for the London Borough of Bexley as we are at the heart of regeneration and change as London moves east. We are currently looking to attract ambitious and experienced Senior / Principal Planners who have made a successful start to their planning careers, with substantial experience of working within Development Management. You will be capable of leading on a wide range of large-scale complex applications. The ideal candidate will have relevant Planning qualifications and eligibility for membership of the RTPI. You will be ambitious for new opportunities and want to work as part of a supportive, dynamic and friendly team, helping to mentor junior staff and assisting with the management of the team.
This role is key for the delivery of the Council’s strategic corporate priorities to meet the Borough’s growth ambitions through the new Local Plan policies. Working for us you will have the opportunity to make a real difference for our residents, securing ‘Growth’ with new homes and regenerating our town centres.
