The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
To provide expert advice and support on all matters relating to Electoral Services, ensuring that all statutory duties are met in accordance with legislation and other guidance. You will lead on key elements of delivery and support for the Head of Electoral Services with the development, direction-setting and delivery of all services in line with modern ways of working and professional best practice for the effective and efficient delivery of the Electrical Registration Officer (ERO) and Returning Officers (RO) statutory duties. You will also deputise for the Head of Electoral Services as required.
Candidate Profile
- You will be required to hold the Certificate in Electoral Administration or be willing to undergo training to attain the Certificate.
- Have a good understanding of electoral law and good practice procedures to properly exercise and fulfil the job function.
- Be experienced in training and supporting staff and be able to contribute to the development of work within the team with competing deadlines along with the ability to assimilate legislative changes.
- A good knowledge of Electoral Management Software as well as Microsoft based packages.
