The predicted salary is between 30000 - 37694 £ per year.
This role supports the Council’s Management Board and Children’s Services, particularly Education, by providing accurate, timely, and insightful data, research, and performance information to drive continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
The post holder will analyse and interpret performance data, monitor trends and targets, automate and streamline reporting processes, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and data governance standards. Working closely with internal teams, local authorities, government bodies, and regulators, they will support service improvement through benchmarking, needs assessments, performance reporting, and preparation for inspections.
Experience with School Census returns, CME/EHE returns, Key Stage Collections, and systems such as Education MRI, VYED, and Nexus would be advantageous. The role also involves promoting transparency through open data initiatives, developing effective partnerships, and supporting the Council’s commitment to efficient, high-quality service delivery.
