The role will co-ordinate a multi-agency response to identify and support vulnerable young people who may be at risk of exploitation, offending or becoming victims of crime, recognising the strong link between victimisation and involvement in the criminal justice system. Working across partners including police, education, health, youth services, social care and the voluntary sector, you will help drive a whole-system approach that delivers meaningful and timely interventions for young people and their families.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated professional with experience of working in partnership environments to support vulnerable children, young people and families. You will have strong administrative and co-ordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, prepare reports, monitor performance data and support the effective delivery of partnership meetings and action plans.
The successful candidate will be confident working across a range of agencies and stakeholders, building positive relationships with statutory services, schools, health partners, voluntary organisations and community groups to ensure a joined-up approach to early intervention and prevention. You will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a clear understanding of the challenges affecting young people at risk of exploitation, violence and involvement in crime. Most importantly, you will be passionate about improving outcomes for young people and committed to delivering meaningful, trauma-informed interventions that make a lasting difference within Barking and Dagenham’s communities.
