Responsibilities
- Responsible to the Principal – Housing Condition Claims for delivery of legal advice and casework in the area of Housing & Litigation Law within Barking and Dagenham Legal Services.
- Support the service in the delivery and development of Legal Services.
- Prepare and process cases and legal documents in the area of disrepair for Housing & Litigation.
- Carry a caseload and work with minimal or no supervision.
- Personally manage complex casework and legal projects in the area of Housing & Litigation Law.
- Provide responsive advice on the management of risk on legal issues.
- Work within the Legal Housing team to provide accurate, comprehensive and proactive legal advice to internal and external clients within the legal specialism of disrepair decisions and case work.

- You will be a solicitor/legal executive/barrister with experience of Housing Conditions Claims ("Disrepair") and able to run your own caseload.
