This is a full‑time, one‑year deputy manager role within a play and creative therapy team. The position is grant funded and requires a visionary play therapist who is organised, system savvy, and a strong team player. The role is based in East London.

Special requirements for this post:

  • The position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
  • Successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive screening process, including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check.

About you:

You will support the team manager in developing therapists and improving therapy provision. Your responsibilities include:

  • Data collection and analysis
  • Developing processes and service improvements
  • Clinical supervision and training provision
  • Engaging with the hybrid working model (three days a week on site)

You should have a strong background in therapeutic work with adolescents, including life story work, attachment work, sibling group work, and 1:1 play and creative integrative therapies.
