We are recruiting to a new role and exciting opportunity within our new Expert Court Assessment Service (ECAS) — supporting the coordination and delivery of court-directed assessment work.

This is a key role within a new service, ensuring that processes run smoothly, efficiently and within statutory timescales.

About the Role

As ECAS Co-ordinator, you will provide specialist business and administrative support, coordinating assessment activity across pre-proceedings and care proceedings.

You will:

  • Track and monitor cases against court and statutory deadlines
  • Coordinate meetings, hearings and assessment activity
  • Maintain accurate systems and elevate risks of delay
  • Act as a key liaison between social workers, legal services and courts
  • Support performance reporting and service delivery

Special requirements for this post

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Children’s Department of Barring Services check.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in administration within social care, legal or similar settings
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage time-critical work and competing priorities
