A great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Operations Manager has arisen at our independent boutique hotel - The Landing Hotel. London Biggin Hill Airport strives to be London's preeminent full-service Business Aviation Airport and a leading centre for aviation technology and enterprise. The Role
The Operations Manager oversees the daily functions of the hotel, including the front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and events. The role is responsible for ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, staff performance, and profitability through effective budget management, enforcement of operational standards, guest satisfaction, and cross-department coordination. Reporting to the Hotel Director, the Operations Manager plays a key role in delivering consistently excellent service across all departments.
You will be joining a professional and friendly hotel team, dedicated to ensuring guest expectations are exceeded. You will need a range of experience and skills which include:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience of working in a food and beverage environment
- Experience of leading others in hospitality
- Sales and events management experience
- Experience of using a hotel PMS (we use Guestline)
- Financial literacy, experience of forecasting and budgeting
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
Benefits
The salary for this role is Β£51k - Β£55k based on experience, for a 42 hour week on a shift pattern across 7 days a week.
