Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Football Coach to join our coaching team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop young athletes. This role involves supporting the Head Coach in training sessions, game strategies, and fostering a positive team environment.

Duties

  • Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting training sessions that enhance players\' skills and teamwork.
  • Provide individual coaching to players, focusing on their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Help develop game strategies and prepare the team for competitions.
  • Monitor player performance during practices and matches, offering constructive feedback.
  • Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among team members.
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive coaching approach.
  • Maintain open communication with players, parents, and school administration regarding team activities and player development.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines during training sessions and matches.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to achieve their best.
  • Knowledge of football tactics, techniques, and training methodologies.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • First Aid certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
