London Autism Group is a charity dedicated to helping anyone in London and its neighbouring Boroughs with an interest in Autism. We began with a Facebook group, to offer advice and support to those who came to us. It is now a thriving hub for the London Autistic Community where people can come to seek assistance with whatever questions they have, or to connect with other similar members of the Community.

At London Autism Group Charity, we bring a wide range of targeted support, to eventually offer help at every stage of an Autistic person's life. With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within our community.

Please note this opportunity is only open to people living in the UK. We will only accept applications with a UK postcode.

As a Volunteer Admin, you become a vital part of our journey. Your role is to coordinate and enhance our online presence through our email accounts, supporting the Autistic Community. This opportunity is tailor-made for individuals who are passionate about crafting engaging content, building online communities, and are eager to contribute to a cause they genuinely believe in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering volunteering applications and providing them with the correct information to process their applications.
  • Navigating different email accounts.
  • Answering emails and providing the correct information about our charity services as well as providing advice and information on other services that may be useful to the e-mailer.
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages with empathy and understanding.
  • Forwarding emails to the correct department.
Qualifications
  • We prefer someone to have post-employment that involves admin.
  • Personal connection or understanding of Autism.
  • Knowledge of different areas of London.
  • Full understanding of Gmail.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Enthusiastic and perfectly aligned with London Autism Group Charity's mission.
