Working Location: East London (Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking, Dagenham) and surrounding areas

Persona: Mobile worker - contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Our East London and Essex repairs team are looking for skilled Carpenters to join the team on a permanent basis. It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role.

Your impact in the role:

Our Multi trade/Carpenters are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits and other general maintenance repairs. Ideally you will also be able to carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.

It is important to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents. We expect our operatives to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service, limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
