Join our Reactive Repairs Team at L&Q:

L&Q are looking for a Roofing Labourer to be paired up with a roofer for the South Region on a permanent basis covering South and South East London in locations such as Southwark, Lambeth, Croydon, Wandsworth, Southwest London, Lewisham and Bexley.

Our roofers will be carrying out a range of small and larger repairs to our occupied properties and we have varied housing stock. The Labourer will be paired with a roofer and will support on site, carrying out jobs, arranging materials for the job.

The Roofing Labourer will at times be up ladders and on the roof, supporting the roofer and therefore will need to be comfortable with working at height. They will need to be Health and Safety aware and will be key in helping with hazard spotting, holding ladders and supporting others.

We are looking for someone with good customer service skills as they will be in regular contact with residents and suppliers. The labourers provide a disposal and clearance service for the roofing team.

Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
