Contract & Location: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week. Location: South London surrounding areas. Salary: £30,386 per annum.

Role Overview: Join our Reactive Repairs Team at L&Q. The Roofing Labourer will work with a roofer covering South and South East London, supporting repairs to occupied properties. The role involves climbing ladders, working at height, carrying out jobs, arranging materials, customer service with residents and suppliers, and disposing and clearing materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the roofer on-site with small and larger repairs.
  • Climb ladders and work at height to support the roofer.
  • Arrange materials for each job and ensure safety.
  • Spot hazards and support safety procedures.
  • Maintain a right first time approach.
  • Provide disposal and clearance service for roofing team.
  • Communicate regularly with residents and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Full manual driving licence.
  • Strong can-do attitude.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Right first time approach.
