Persona: Mobile worker - contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Join Our Maintenance Team

Our South London Responsive Repairs team is looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Plumber to join us on a permanent basis.

At L&Q, we're committed to providing safe, well-maintained homes and delivering an outstanding service to our residents.

As part of our in-house maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping homes in excellent condition while delivering a high-quality, customer-focused repairs service across our housing stock.

Your Impact in the Role

• Carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and replacements, including sinks, water tanks, bathrooms, and associated plumbing systems.
• Deliver repairs efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring work is completed right first time.
• Use your multi-trade skills to undertake basic carpentry, tiling, painting and decorating, and patch plastering repairs where required.
• Act as a professional and friendly first point of contact for residents.
• Help improve customer satisfaction by reducing repeat visits and resolving issues effectively.
• Work safely and in line with Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with opportunities to increase earnings through call-out and out-of-hours work.

What You'll Bring

• Strong trade knowledge and practical experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working within a housing maintenance, building maintenance, or construction environment.
• An NVQ qualification or equivalent relevant trade experience.
• A broad range of multi-trade skills, including basic carpentry, tiling, decorating, and plastering.
• Excellent customer service skills and a resident-focused approach.
• A commitment to delivering a right first-time service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
• A full UK manual driving licence.
