Join our L&Q Living Housing Management Team at L&Q: An exciting opportunity has become available for the right candidate to join us as a Scheme Manager within our Housing Management Team. Independent Living is an integral part of what L&Q Living do, delivering services primarily for our customers aged 55 and over. Our customers are always at the heart of our service. We are an aspirational and forward-thinking team, responsible for delivering quality housing and working with our customers to enable them to maintain their independence and live well by delivering the support they require, encouraging social participation and identifying opportunities to connect with the wider community. Your impact in the role:
- Providing frontline housing management services to ensure the scheme is fully compliant.
- Proactively engaging with residents, visitors, and contractors to maintain positive communication channels, enhance resident wellbeing, identify support needs, and work with partner agencies to achieve appropriate outcomes.
- Encouraging and supporting residents to make the scheme in which they live a supportive environment for themselves, friends, and other groups in the areas, while embracing technology-assisted processes to enhance the Independent Living offer.
What you'll bring:
- Relevant practical experience in housing management or other customer focused role, with knowledge of service delivery, health and safety and the benefits of assisted technology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to identify the needs of others and provide support and guidance.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to identify problems and proactively find solutions.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with the ability to collate, analyse and present data.
