The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Join our Communities Team at L&Q: This is a brand-new role that has been created to lead the Communities team on two major remediation projects in Delamere and Winsford in Cheshire. You will be focussed on leading the successful delivery of resident liaison activities on these sites where major works are happening in and around residents' homes. The role will line manage two site-based Communities Coordinators, and you will provide visible best practice management for them across both projects.

Your impact in the role: We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering high quality communications, resident engagement and project planning. You will be able to actively problem solve, provide on the ground solutions, lead on complaints, and be comfortable dealing with challenging situations on site. Your ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal construction and project teams, as well as external stakeholders, will enable you to make the best use of L&Q resources and support the wider group strategy. The role will also get to collaborate with counterparts based in East and West London and be able to deputise for the Senior Communities Manager when required. Once the role is embedded, there will also be opportunity to get involved in our regeneration pipeline in the northwest and support projects with Communities insight and resident engagement.

What you'll bring: Proven track record of managing the delivery of major works, community development or investment activities - from inception to completion - on new build, regeneration, redevelopment or remediation projects. You will be an experienced people manager and be able to demonstrate experience of effectively managing site-based staff on challenging projects to contribute positively to high performance. You will have knowledge of leading effective communications associated with regeneration, remediation or development-based projects. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to source and present innovative solutions. Knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, tenancies and leases, and formal complaints. Strong track record of using project programme software, including developing complex programmes. Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a wider range of stakeholders. Experience of public speaking and chairing external and resident meetings.
