Salary: £46,503 - £56,000 depending on experience and qualifications plus £1,300 essential car user allowance*

Working Location: Across L&Q South region
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Your impact in the role
The role includes developing, implementing and managing the L&Q procedures regarding fire safety management in buildings. Ensuring it is in-line with policy, best practice, regulatory and legislative requirements. You will be a self‐motivated, professional individual who is able to provide high quality, confidential and trustworthy customer focused service. The focus will be on providing high quality and confidential customer‐focused service.
Responsibilities
We will conduct professional, suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) in accordance with statutory requirements as required by a programme and/or in response to incidents on our residential buildings.
Developing, implementing and managing the L&Q procedures regarding fire safety management in buildings.
Ensuring procedures are in line with policy, best practice, regulatory and legislative requirements.
Providing professional and confidential customer focused service.
Conducting FRAs for all types of residential buildings including High Rise, Sheltered/Care Schemes and Converted Street Properties.
Responding to incidents on residential buildings and undertaking FRAs as required.
Working with fire safety legislation and regulatory reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Approved Documents and industry guidance.
Collaborating with teams both in office and dispersed.
Qualifications & Experience
Valid driving licence and access to a car.
Already have obtained or be willing to work towards a Professional Fire Accreditation.
Level 3/4 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Management.
Experience working with Fire Safety legislation and regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Extensive experience of undertaking FRAs in the residential sector.
Understanding of fire compliance within a housing association or local authority.
Knowledge of Approved Documents and Industry Guidance.
Ability to work as part of a team both in the office and dispersed.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to tailor communication for various internal and external stakeholders.
Use of MS packages, training will be given on the trust bespoke systems.
