Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week

Reporting Office: Sidcup, London

Contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident home, estates etc, with ad hoc office attendance as required. Van provided for business use.

We are looking for two experienced Electricians to join on a permanent basis. You will work alongside our in house Maintenance team.

Our Electricians are responsible for ensuring that all they do is with our residents' satisfaction and best interests in mind. The focus will be high quality work and on first time fix approach. We are focused on meeting targets, both financial and customer related working to time frames and making sure that jobs per day are completed on time and within cost.

The team must have a firm knowledge and be able to actively contribute to ensuring that the Direct Maintenance teams KPIs are met.

We are looking for experienced individuals with a good working knowledge in building and/or housing environment, particularly within social housing or local authority experience of working within domestic and/or commercial Electrician role.

You will have a good knowledge, understanding and experience of Inspection & testing of electrical installations, including good ability to fault find.

  • Route 1: NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Apprenticeship or equivalent (must include AM2 where required by the EAS Qualifications Guide)
  • Route 3: Experienced Worker Qualification (Maintenance/Installation Electrician) or ECS Gold Card (Maintenance/Installation Electrician) or equivalent
  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671:2018)
  • Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of in-service Electrical Installations (QCF) or equivalent.

Maintenance experience preferably gained within Social Housing or a similar environment. Experience with completing electrical certification, including periodic inspections & testing.

Full driving licence required.
