As Information Manager, you'll implement L&Q's Information Management strategy across Property & Investment, keeping construction, building and component information effectively managed across our projects.
As our development and remediation programme grows, we need an experienced Information Manager to maintain a robust, well-designed Common Data Environment and embed strong information management practices across our projects.
You'll report to the BIM Manager, joining our Property & Investment team and contributing to the wider Building Information Management (BIM) programme.

Your impact in the role: Deploy and maintain L&Q's Common Data Environment (CDE) across allocated projects, ensuring it's well designed and fit for purposeLiaise with stakeholders to understand their information management needs and reflect this in CDE configurationCoordinate and deliver CDE training to internal and external stakeholdersProvide information management support across wider BIM capabilities and act as a data steward for BIM-related information, helping to maintain its quality, consistency, governance and effective use across the organisationManage the Information Management workstream on live development and remediation projects, embedding practices compliant with BS ISO19650 and the UK BIM FrameworkSupport the establishment and maintenance of a Golden Thread of information across projects, and assist in assembling and validating information sets for regulatory submissionsAct as L&Q's Subject Matter Expert for the CDE, advising on its proper use and supporting changes to workflows and folder structuresCollaborate with colleagues across Property & Investment to drive adoption of the CDE, support Document Controllers and project staff, and engage external stakeholders who use L&Q's CDEYour work will help embed a strong Golden Thread of information across our projects, supporting regulatory compliance and the wider success of the BIM programmeWhat you'll bring: We're looking for: Experience managing Common Data Environments in a construction settingUnderstanding of the principles and operation of Information Management, including ISO 19650, the UK BIM Framework and CoBieDemonstrable collaboration, stakeholder management and influencing skillsAbility to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve problems as they ariseExcellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and manage time effectivelyGood analytical skills, with the ability to interpret, quantify and summarise information from multiple sources and distinguish key facts, concerns and issuesGood written and oral communication skillsDesirable: an understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 and requirements for the Golden Thread of InformationDesirable: an understanding of the construction process, house building operations, or major works and remediationIf you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage during this process, including application stage, please emailAbout L&Q:We're one of the UK's leading housing associations and developers.
