Working Location: East London (Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking, Dagenham) and surrounding areas

Persona: Mobile worker - contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:

Our East London and Essex repairs team are looking for skilled Carpenters to join the team on a permanent basis. It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role.

Your impact in the role:

Our Multi trade/Carpenters are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits, and other general maintenance repairs. Ideally, you will also be able to carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.

It is important to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents. We expect our operatives to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service, limiting follow-ons and increasing satisfaction.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
