Your impact in the role:
- Direct support: Manage a caseload of residents, offering tailored mentoring, coaching, and practical support to help them secure work, apprenticeships, or training.
- Driving results: Work to clear targets, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Partnership building: Develop strong relationships with employers, training providers, Jobcentre Plus, and support organisations to maximise opportunities.
- Programme delivery: Run workshops and training sessions on employability skills, CV writing, and interview techniques.
- Monitoring success: Keep accurate records of progress and outcomes, providing regular reports and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in helping people into employment, apprenticeships, or training, with knowledge of welfare benefits.
- A genuine interest in supporting people into employment with experience working with vulnerable people facing challenging situations.
- Stakeholder management knowledge, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with employers, agencies, and training providers.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence in delivering workshops and one-to-one support.
- Proficient IT skills and effective record keeping abilities for report writing and maintaining accurate casework records.
