We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Technician to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the senior accounting staff in day-to-day tasks.
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero and Sage for various financial management tasks.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements.
