We’re looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Associate to support teaching, assessments, and student engagement across our Business Management programmes. Perfect for graduates, early career professionals, or anyone looking to start a career in teaching, academic coordination, exams/assessment support, or HE administration. You will support the delivery of engaging and high-quality teaching across our Business programmes, while benefiting from structured training, mentoring, and professional development to build your skills as an educator. Key Responsibilities- Teaching & Learning Support
- Contribute to the delivery of teaching sessions across Business Management programmes (Levels 4–6).
- Assist with preparing lesson plans, teaching resources, and digital learning materials.
- Co‑deliver or independently deliver teaching sessions with guidance.
- Use varied teaching methods and digital tools to support student learning.
- Deliver sessions in‑person and/or online as required.
- Provide academic support through tutorials, drop‑in sessions, and workshops.
- Assessment & Exams Support
- Support the preparation and administration of assessments and coursework.
- Assist with marking, moderation, and feedback (training provided).
- Learn and follow internal quality assurance and assessment procedures.
- Help coordinate assessment schedules and maintain accurate academic records.
- Student Support & Engagement
- Build positive rapport with students and support their academic progress.
- Promote student attendance, engagement, and participation.
- Contribute to an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in academic reviews, monitoring, and student welfare processes.
- Academic Coordination & Administration
- Assist Programme Leads with timetabling, module coordination, and academic planning.
- Support the delivery of onboarding, inductions, and academic events.
- Collaborate with Exams, Registry, and Student Support teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with institutional standards.
- Professional Development
- Engage in structured mentoring and internal training programmes.
- Work toward a recognised teaching qualification (HEA Fellowship, PGCert, or equivalent).
- Develop academic, pedagogical, and administrative skills.
- Attend team meetings, CPD sessions, and institutional training.
