Job Purpose

The Admissions Assistance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational support functions of the admissions department. This role will serve as a bridge between applicants, referral partners, and internal admissions officers, ensuring a seamless application process and high standards of communication, documentation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the admissions support team.
  • Review student applications and ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with institutional and UKVI standards.
  • Manage communication with students, agents, and community heads regarding application status, document requirements, and timelines.
  • Ensure timely scheduling of interviews, Century Tests, and follow-up communication.
  • Maintain and monitor the admissions tracker and digital folder systems (Google Drive, CRM, etc.).
  • Escalate complex cases to senior admissions officers for review and resolution.
  • Support the Admissions Manager in compiling weekly reports and performance metrics.
  • Assist in onboarding new admissions assistants and training them on LAAT processes.
  • Ensure all data protection and confidentiality standards are maintained throughout the process.

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in student admissions or academic operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with UK student visa guidelines and admission policies preferred.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and student CRMs.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
