Our Support Workers are responsible for providing day-to-day support for individuals with disabilities, facilitating activities and skills development.
Support workers ensure the well-being of the individuals under their care in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment.
You’ll be part of a friendly team and will be expected to work flexibly across the service to ensure client needs are met.
Main Purpose of job Support clients to engage and participate in activities.
Work as part of a team to lead sessions, provide support to clients as needed, sometimes on a one-to-one basis.

Main tasks Provide on-going support to clients throughout the day, during all activities and in break times.
Support clients to participate in activities, helping them to achieve their goals.
Provide “active support” in line with clients’ individual plans and risk assessments.
Assist with activity planning and risk assessments.
Lead activities as needed, both on site and in the community.
Assist with record keeping such as daily reports, case diary sheets and contribute to client reviews as needed.
