Known for their meticulous attention to detail, bespoke craftsmanship and seamless delivery, they operate within the prime and super-prime sector, partnering with private clients, leading architects and design teams to bring exceptional one-off homes to life. Following sustained growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to bring in a self-efficient Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, capable of overseeing projects from The Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of multiple high-end residential projects, typically ranging between £5m – £10m in value. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial control, cost accuracy, and commercial success from tender through to final account. This is a key appointment offering autonomy, responsibility, and clear progression within a design-focused and growing contractor. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial delivery of complex, high-value private residential projects Manage cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management and clients Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure best value and terms Support pre-construction, tenders, and procurement strategies Work collaboratively with project and site teams to maintain budgetary control Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team About You: Experienced, Hands-on Quantity Surveyor with a background in high-end or super-prime residential construction (preferred) Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex projects Passionate about quality, detail, and excellence in delivery Confident working with architects, designers, and discerning private clients What\’s on Offer: Opportunity to commercially oversee landmark private residential projects across Surrey and the Home Counties Lead Surveyor role within a respected and ambitious main contractor Competitive salary and benefits package (negotiable for the right individual) Long-term career progression within a business that values expertise and craftsmanship If you are looking to take on a rewarding QS opportunity – we\’d be delighted to speak with you in confidence
